The Society holds regular meetings on the second Monday of each month.

The Middleton Railway is next to M621 junction 5 (westbound only, follow brown Middleton Railway signs) and near to junction 6 (eastbound only, left on to Balm Road and left again on to Moor Road). Ample car parking is available on site.
The nearest bus stops are on Dewsbury Road (Burton Road, services 2, 3, 3A & 86) and Balm Road (Moor Road, services 12, 13, 13A, 47)
New Yorkshire Buses service 61 now stop nearby
Start time 7.15pm (for 7.30) and meetings run from September to June with speakers on transport related topics most months.
New members are always made welcome.

On-off rain showers didn't dampen spirits as a great day was had by all in Morley as the town welcomed back a tram for the first time in 79 years
Morley will welcome a tram for the first time since 1935 as part of a remembrance celebration to commemorate the outbreak of the First World War
The running gear for Cambridge 7 was collected from Leeds by a team from the Ipswich Transport Museum on Wednesday 12th March
Today was a hard but a good day on the project. We started with a pile of parts & ended with a complete set of running gear complete with brakes but if it runs we will need more track
On Wednesday we were hoping to take delivery of the wheels but for various reasons they didn't appear so I spent the day with Jim Soper painting and drilling the last of the steel work
A week of solid progress on the project as we took delivery of the 8 coil springs from the Lancashire Spring Co at Milnrow and collected various bits of steelwork from Jason Reeve

NEWSLETTER LTHS NEWS
The charity researches and publishes books about Public Transport in the City of Leeds and surrounding areas.
It also restores historic public transport from Leeds. It assists other societies with information requests.
The Society also holds regular social meetings at which speakers give talks on public transport related topics.
